Expandable Container House Frame Welding & Painting Process | Factory Production
The steel frame is the core structural part of every expandable container house, it determines the strength, stability, and long-term durability of the house. Each frame is constructed from 2.5mm-thick galvanized steel tube, taking a 20ft expandable container as an example, a single frame weighs as much as 1,200 kg.​
To ensure the stability of each frame, we first use a laser tube cutting machine to precisely cut the steel tube, after which welders assemble the galvanized steel structure to guarantee robust load-bearing capacity.​
Once welding is complete, every seam and joint in the frame is carefully ground and polished to remove weld spatter and ensure a smooth surface. This polishing process serves as preparation for the subsequent coating.​​
The completed frames then proceed to the anti-corrosion spraying process. First, workers wear protective gear and use a spray gun to apply the powder evenly to the frame. The frame is then transferred to a large oven for high-temperature curing for approximately two hours, ensuring the powder adheres firmly to the frame. The powder-coated steel structure is thus protected against moisture, rust in various outdoor environments. This process significantly extends the house span life.​
