Factory production normally takes around 30 days, though lead times may be extended due to production scheduling constraints and peak season order backlogs.

Site Preparation

Site foundation must be fully prepared in advance before the arrival of your expandable container house. Without a properly built foundation, the unit cannot be levelled correctly, which will cause faulty operation of doors and windows and shorten the overall service life of the building in the long run.   A reinforced concrete slab is the most commonly adopted foundation type for these homes. Site clearing takes roughly half a day to one full day, concrete pouring requires one day, and an additional day is needed for the concrete to cure and harden. To avoid rainwater leakage and ensure comfortable long-term occupancy, structural fixing and professional waterproofing treatment are essential and decisive steps for living quality. After the expandable house is fully set up, we spend 2 to 3 days completing overall structural reinforcement. The process includes sealing all assembly gaps with weatherproof sealant and applying professional waterproof coating on the roof and joints to achieve full leak-proof performance.

Interior finishing

Finally, we come to the best part of intallation, decorating and turning the unit into our dream livng space. All custom cabinets, sofas, beds and wardrobes will be placed in their designated positions, which generally takes 1 working day. If the unit comes with additional terrace, it takes half a day to install, and the matching top canopy requires another day of work.

All this extra trim and sealing work inevitably adds more hours to the process.

The short answer is: it depends. That said, we highly recommend hiring professional installers to complete the setup.   Qualified crews can avoid costly mistakes and drastically cut down installation time. All the unfolding durations shared above are calculated based on the working efficiency of experienced technicians.   We have specified the required number of workers for each house size in the table below.
